May 18, 2026

Fiducia MGA has announced two new appointments as part of its continuing expansion strategy across UK, EU and international markets.

David Rubin has joined the MGA as underwriting assistant, whilst Joanne Brady has been hired in the finance team as credit controller.

Fiducia specialises in insurance for marine cargo, freight liability, engineering, marine equipment and fine art and specie alongside excess of loss and terrorism covers. The company, which was established in 2016, is backed by certain underwriters at Lloyd’s and other insurers.

As an underwriting assistant, David is supporting Fiducia’s underwriting team across its specialist product lines and ensures efficient policy administration for broker partners.

This includes assisting with policy renewal invitations and confirmations, issuing new business documentation and preparing management information reports.

Credit controller Joanne is an experienced finance and customer resolution professional. She is supporting the premium collection process and broker account queries, maintaining strong service levels for broker partners.

Commenting on the appointments, Fiducia CEO, Gerry Sheehy, said: “As our client base continues to grow throughout the UK, EU and international markets, it’s essential that we continue to invest in our people and processes to further enable the delivery of our best-in-class service.

“David and Joanne are great operators who share Fiducia’s ‘can do’ attitude. They have both already had a positive impact and will ensure we maintain the responsive service levels our broker partners expect as we expand.”
