Fiducia has appointed a new underwriter to strengthen its Combined Liabilities team to meet broker and client demand.

Emma Harvey has been promoted to the position, after joining the Leeds-based MGA in 2024 as assistant underwriter where she has provided support across Fiducia’s specialist insurance products.

With more than 10 years’ experience in insurance, Emma previously held commercial broking roles at Aon and Gauntlet Group.

Following her promotion to underwriter, she is specialising in Combined Liabilities insurance, working with brokers across the UK, Europe and international markets to assess individual risks and provide insurance policies tailored to the individual requirements of their clients.

This includes employer’s liability, public liability and products liability for hauliers, couriers and warehousekeepers.

Commenting on her promotion, Emma said: “Fiducia works hard to provide brokers with competitively priced policies that meet the specialist needs of their clients.

“Combined Liabilities is a highly active and evolving area of insurance and since joining the company I’ve had the opportunity to learn from our expert underwriting team.

Last year, Fiducia expanded its risk appetite for Combined Liabilities insurance to provide cover for a range of contractors. This includes builders, groundworkers, plant hirers, skip hirers as well as contractors for electrics, plumbing, heating and ventilation.
