Fiducia has recently made three new appointments as it continues to build its capabilities to drive its ambitions for profitable growth.

The Leeds-based underwriter has hired Tom Durant, Jaymar Arante and Heather Neil, to create a new team which will provide underwriting support across all areas of the business.

Tom joins Fiducia from UK General where he worked as an Oversight Manager analysing claims, ratings and commissions. Jaymar joins the company from Dubai where he had worked as an  Insurance Underwriting Administrator for 5 years before coming to the UK. Heather began working in sales at Cigna  Insurance in her native New Zealand but had an ambition to move into underwriting and came to the UK earlier this year to pursue that aim.

The team has been created to support the underwriting operations across all classes of business and will be part of the processes around the development of products and wordings as Fiducia continues to expand its capacity and its product areas in response to ongoing demand from its broker partners.
